This Privacy Policy document contains types of information that is collected and recorded by Kaffein and how we use it.

This Privacy Policy applies only to our online activities and is valid for users to our android application with regards to the information that they shared and/or collected on Kaffein. This policy is not applicable to any information collected offline or via channels other than the android application.
We are governed by the provisions of applicable law in India including the Information Technology Act 2000 and the Information Technology (Reasonable security practices and procedures and sensitive personal data or information) Rules, 2011 to maintain the privacy of your Personal Data.

The personal information that you are asked to provide, and the reasons why you are asked to provide it, will be made clear to you in this document.
When you register for an Account, we may ask for your contact information, including items such as name, email address, phone number.
Depending on your use, we might also ask you to share your location information, gender, age, photos, and microphone permission to support voice calls and voice notes.
If you create an account via Missed Call verification, we ask for Call Logs permission once to verify your phone number by forwarding a missed call.
And if you contact us directly, we may receive additional information like the contents of the message and/or attachments you may send us, and any other information you may choose to provide.
But we do not store any data or content regarding your voice calls with your friends.
Your gender and age data are only be asked if you want to use the features explicitly and those information aren’t viewable publicly unless you want to.
All information collected is not shared with any third parties and we don’t generate any revenue from it. All information is important to maintain app functionality and make your experience better. Details are listed below.
If you want to Delete your Account along with your Data, you can request your Account Deletion by visiting the Settings option in your Timeline section. Any requests of account deletion gets processed everyday at 6AM IST. Before it gets processed, you can cancel the request for account deletion at any point of time.

Log Files
Kaffein follows a standard procedure of using log files. These files log visitors when they visit websites/applications. All hosting companies do this as a part of hosting services' analytics. The information collected by log files include internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, Internet Service Provider (ISP), date and time stamp, referring/exit pages, and possibly the number of clicks. These are not linked to any information that is personally identifiable. The purpose of the information is for analyzing trends, administering the site, tracking users' movement on the website/application, and gathering demographic information.
Like any other website/application, Kaffein uses 'cookies'. These cookies are used to store information including visitors' preferences, and the pages on the website/application that the visitor accessed or visited. The information is used to optimize the users' experience by customizing our web page content based on visitors' browser type and/or other information.
Another part of our priority is adding protection for children while using the internet. We encourage parents and guardians to observe, participate in, and/or monitor and guide their online activity.
Kaffein does not knowingly collect any Personal Identifiable Information from children under the age of 13.
